INTRODUCTION

It is intended to generate discussion and sharing ideas through cases (case studies) of entrepreneurship and successful process of territorial development, at a National and International level, with special emphasis on rural areas. The aim is also to contribute to the identification of critical success factors in terms of economic, social and environmental dynamics of innovation in areas of low density.

a. Introduce innovative projects of rural development in the National and European contexts, and reflect on their critical success factors and transferability;

b. Identify the point of view and the conditions for the development of innovative approaches that leverage local resources of Low Density territories;

c. Mobilize in a concerted manner, the various public and private institutions in the Minho-Lima for change and innovative develop solutions based on entrepreneurism and sustainability.
